Bottle & Can Recycling Centre

We just went to the shop this afternoon. We were just shocked with the cashier’s attitude at this place! We have been to other OP shop, but I don’t think we got treated this way before. He was mumbling to us and we couldn’t hear, so I said “sorry?” then he just told us “$20!” then shook his head. And as we were leaving, he muttered and cursed some horrible words to himself knowing that it was aimed at us. What’s wrong with this place?!!!! We won’t be returning AGAIN!!! Very disappointed.

Wow, what an easy to use setup! Make sure you have made your profile and connected your bank ect before you go if you want to go down that route, otherwise for donations or cash voucher I think it's pretty simple (not sure, I had pre-planned my visit) I used the all types RVM and it was dead simple, scan and load away... I would however suggest you make sure the lids are off before you go, I didn't read that they needed to be off, but I noticed a lid shoot after I had almost finished, so safe to say this is the case

Always interesting and I love fossicking through the miscellaneous boxes. A good shop for those after books and a selection in large print for those with low vision. They get some lovely furniture, kitchenware, clothing and accessories all at fair prices. Staffed by friendly volunteers who are keen to help find what you are looking for.

They told me you can have a cash payment. We deposited approximately 500 bottles, but when it was time to get the cash, they only offer COLES VOUCHERS, which is NOT cash!!

2 'stained' Bric a brac items priced at $2 UNTIL supervisor up to $5 EACH! Rip of without a question; distasteful experience.

I commend the staff at bridging the gap port kennedy. Today was a hot day & the staff were visibly affected by the weather conditions yet they still remained polite & professional serving me cheerfully. All up my entire visit was 10 minutes from scanning in to being paid cash which was exactly what I expected given the website shows when the busy & quiet times are. I recieved the money I was expecting to get by a friendly cashier & I have had much the same experience on every visit to them. I have used the port kennedy facility at least a dozen times now & will continue there as I am sure to recieve the same friendly service as always. Good job guys a credit to the brand.

Friendly staff who greet every customer on arrival and has a great amount of items, I always find something. So easy and lovely to shop here and very easy to browse - the clothes aren’t at all crammed on the racks like some other op shops can be. The place is well organised, prices are clearly displayed, staff are helpful. Been shopping here for a year or so. Wanted to keep my review to myself, feels like I found a quiet gem that I don’t want to share :)

Very fast and efficient service. Not a very long wait time. Nice and friendly staff. Clean workplace with a ln easy entrance and exit from the building for both driving and walking.

I had the loveliest time visiting this so called largest Good Sammy’s in WA. I came on a very quiet day and enjoyed not only a leisurely shop but also the care of the kindest of shop assistants. The staff are truly divine, kind and chatty. I bought some nice dresses for the usual Good Sammy’s price of $8 each. Books were half off so that was grand, then I bought some baby’s things for a very cheap price. All in all I had. A great time and will absolutely be back.
